Schwalbe Aerothan Tube 20“ BMX/Cargo

This is the super lightweight and puncture-resistant Schwalbe Aerothan Tube 20“ TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) tube.

This tube weighs an incredible 65g!
A standard 20“ butyl tube weighs between 120 and 160g, while the light variants weigh around 100g less.
You can save so much in terms of price and weight savings with no other component!

At the same time, TPU tubes are very puncture-resistant and have lower rolling resistance.
This tube can be used for both front and rear in a 19“ wheel.

Repairs are very easy with separately available self-adhesive patches (Schwalbe Glueless Patches).

For maximum weight savings, these tubes have an SV (Sclaverand) valve.
This valve is slimmer than the conventional AV (auto valve).
To reduce the Schrader rim hole size, you will need a small adapter (available separately or can be added here).

There are various manufacturers of TPU tubes on the market. We have chosen Schwalbe for our range because it is significantly more resistant to snake bites than competing products (snakle bites are the most common tire puncture in trials sports).
