Stems

The stem is, next to the handlebar, the component with which you make the individual adjustment to your body size and riding style.

Stems are available in various lengths and angles.

The length is always measured from the center of the fork stem clamp to the center of the handlebar clamp.

The angle is measured from the central axis of the fork stem.
If a stem had a right angle to the fork steerer-tube, this would correspond to 0°.
The larger the angle measurement, the steeper the stem protrudes upwards.
